Who we are
UDJC Show Manager is the official app of the United Dressage and Jumping Club (UDJC) for managing club horse shows: entries, schedules, judging, results, billing, and memberships. Questions about this policy: udjsupport@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Account details — name, email address, phone number, and birthday (used for age-group classification in competition results).
- Horse and competition data — horses you register (including photos and health/compliance documents such as Coggins certificates), show entries, scores, placings, points, and prize money. Competition results are part of the club's permanent show records.
- Payment information — payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers are handled by Stripe and never stored on our servers. We keep billing records (what was charged and paid) as required for club accounting.
- Bug reports — if you send feedback, we receive your message, optional screenshots you attach, and basic device info (app version, device model, iOS version) to help us fix issues.
- Voice input — dictation is transcribed on your device by Apple's speech recognition. We receive only the resulting text, never audio recordings.
What we don't do
- No advertising, no ad tracking, and no third-party analytics profiles.
- We never sell your data.
- No location tracking — the app does not request your location.
Where data lives
Data is stored with Google Firebase (Firestore and Cloud Storage) in the United States, protected by per-role security rules. Emails (receipts, notices) are delivered via Resend. Payments run on Stripe.
Who can see what
Show results (rider name, horse name, placings) are visible to club members in the app — that's the nature of competition results. Your billing details are visible only to you and show-office staff. Club officials can see entry and membership information needed to run shows.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete Account). This permanently removes your sign-in, profile, and horses. Competition results and billing records are retained as required for the club's permanent records and accounting obligations. You can also email udjsupport@gmail.com for any data request.
Children
Accounts are created for club members through the club's membership process. Junior members' accounts are set up with parental involvement through the club; we collect only what competition management requires (name and birthday for age groups).
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated and significant changes will be announced in the app.
